Generation 1: Still loving the kids.

Life got on a steady rutine, the girls went to school and the adults to work. It was easy and fun, I didn’t know having three kids could be fun. I still wanted more. My girls were starting to realize they had wants and they liked some things over others. Rose, for example, was always exploring the galaxy, looking for stars. And Natalie thought it might be a good idea too.

And I went back to something I’ve always loved, painting. Soon I had the skills to paint portraits and started to paint one of myself. After work, of course, I still wanted to get a promotion soon.

One day, this kid came home with Rose, Adan, he seemed like a nice kid, maybe boyfriend material for later…

Well, maybe not.

Look, there’s Natalie, I wonder what she’s up to, I hope robbing a bank is not part of her plans, yet.

No, it’s Adan. She didn’t like that kid. Oh, well, we knew she was evil since the day she was born.

Later that evening, when the kids were asleep, Chris and I put into action some of those thoughts we were having. I know you know what I mean.

Anyway, I finished my portrait and kept painting. I wanted to know everything it is to know about it.

Remember what I said about Rose? She loves her telescope and searches the galaxy daily, until one day she found a new star and named it after herself. And then and there, my big girl decided she wanted to be an astronaut.

And she started to work on it that same morning.

At lunchtime, Natalie decided to treat me to one of her muffins, from the kid’s oven. She seemed happy, like she wanted to do something good for someone. Maybe she’s not that evil.

Maybe she is. Why on earth would I be vomiting right in front of the grocerie store then?

And here she is, my master of evilness, talking with the angel of the house, the good twin. Weirdly, they are quite good friends.

This time, every ingredient used in any food I eat is coming from my garden, being harvested by my hands. Understood?

That night, I couldn’t sleep, so I decided to complete an oportunity from the Stadium. I did some exercise with the radio, run to the pool and swam for half an hour. It felt good. My tummy wasn’t upset anymore.

But when I got back, I knew why. I think I owe someone an apology, don’t you think?

One Response to Generation 1: Still loving the kids.

  1. Did you drop this legacy? Anyway, I can’t wait to see the new kid. I hope it’s a boy like you wanted! As for the girls, I hope they like the new baby and I hope Katie finds out that there is no way Natalie is evil. She’s too nice!
